I’m not even sure how this will work, but thought it might be interesting to see who is really reading this site, if anyone still is. I always get random people coming up to me and telling me they are readers, which is always a strange thing, but I still don’t think that many people are really following the site regularly, besides Inger and Mara (Hi guys!).
This site is pretty much constantly a work in progress. Someday I’ll be satisfied with it’s looks and functionality, but that day is certainly not today. So just ignore the lack of pictures and pretty layouts. At least until after the first birthday party is over.
So, it’s been a stressful week. Lucy and I were in New Jersey and were sick as effing dogs! Lucy spent one lovely night screaming to make sure I was fully aware of how miserable she was. Oh, and she didn’t poop for four days. FOUR. DAYS.
Now I’ve officially started my new job and am attempting to balance being a worker bee and being a mama. It’s hard. Just in case you didn’t know. Really hard.
On top of that, after many technical difficulties and issues with Movable Type (my publishing platform), we here at Crazybananas headquarters have decided to migrate this site to different system, WordPress. This has, of course, caused so many technical errors my brain just may explode out of my ears, including the possible loss of 75% of my past posts. You can view our progress here. After we figure out all of the quirks, hopefully, we’ll do a complete redesign. With pretty pictures. And plenty of long island ice teas. Mmmmmm….
So bear with me, because, honestly, this site is gonna suck balls for a while.

I (sort of) figured out my comments problem…BY MYSELF! After several emails asking for some help on this subject, I just gave up and started messing with settings and I DID IT! Comments are enabled. At least, for now.
