Just wanted to let everyone know that Chicago was absolutely amazing! I’ve never seen such a great performance, and I’m acutally not being sarcastic. It was such a good show, Abbie and I were singing all night long! OK, that’s all for now…tomorrow we return to the states:) See everyone soon!
So, we’re getting ready to leave our hostel and head off to our posh hotel (yeah right). I booked this hotel for the last two nights before we left in May, that way even if we had no money our last two nights would be paid for. Anyway, we may no longer have cheap internet access, so I thought I’d let everyone know how London is:) Abbie and I wondered around Leincester Square yesterday, but it pretty much rained all afternoon, so we decided to check out a movie at the biggest movie theater in London..and guess who’s at the same theater? You guessed it…Vin Disel! We think he might be following us around Europe. I mean one Vin Disel sighting is a coincidence, but two?! Anyway, today we wanted to go on a tour of the sights, but of course it was raining, so all we did was see everything from the bus. Tomorrow we’re gonna go back to Westminster Abbey and Buckingham Palace (and hopefully it won’t rain). Tonight we’re going to see the play ‘Chicago’ in the theater district starrng the one and only David Hasselhoff (you’re all jealous, I know). If I can find another computer I’ll let everyone know how it goes:)
Cheers everyone! I’m in London, but I haven’t seen anything yet because we just got here. We got into our hostel, which is pretty nice with heaps of cool people (and a game room, ha ha Trent). I think today Abbie and I may go on a double-decker bus tour of the city, and we’re going to try and get theater tickets as well. There seems to be alot to do in London, and everyone speaks English!! Yipee! We took a cab from Waterloo station to our hostel and it was so cute. And everyone drives on the wrong side of the road! (How hickish and Kansas do I sound?) OK, that’s all for now. I’ll write more after we actually go see something. And for those who want souvenirs….don’t keep asking or you won’t get anything!
Bonjour everybody. I’m now in Paris, where Abbie and I are truly becomong each others true love (just kidding). We left Amsterdam Friday morning and met some fun Brits on the train who gave us advice on dealing with the French. In Amsterdam we went to the Van Gogh Museum and the Red Light district. Abbie and I went to an overpriced sex show, and lets just say I’ll never look at a banana in the same way! On Thursday we almost saw Vin Disel at a movie premire, but he didn’t show. I always knew he was a douche bag! Honestly, I thought I’d see more famous people in Europe. Anyway, in Paris, we’ve been to the Louve, Eiffel Tower, Arc de Triumph, Notre Dame, etc., and tonight we’re taking a boat down the river. Alot of walking and pic taking; Paris reminds me so much of Florence, very strange…Tomorrow we’re off to London! Cheers!
OK, though it’s become blatently obvious that no one really reads this, I still thought I’d write a little blurb about my time in Amsterdam, so far. I only got in to town last night (really late) and haven’t really seen anything, but our hotel is pretty cool and it’s in a really fun part of town. Abbie is excited (as am I) because we’re within walking distance of a Burger King, McDonald’s and Pizza Hut. It’s amazing how much you miss good ole’ American fast food when you’re abroad. Anyway, today we plan on going to the Heineken Experience, a theme-park with rides and free beer that used to be a factory. Then we want to head over to the Red Light district to see what is over there (can you guess). Tomorrow and Thursday we want to go to the Anne Frank House, Van Gogh museum, Rembrant museum, and of course the famous Amsterdam cafes….OK pace to anyone who may actually read this:)
