So yesterday we had our first Kansas (or Missouri, whatever) big snow of the season. And it was a doozy!

Like, a foot of snow on the ground this morning. And of course, my car is in the shop, so the one formally known as the Bearded Wonder who is now attempting to return to his bearded glory had to take me to work. We all know how much the former Bearded Wonder hates the world before 10 a.m., but today he was like a kid with a new video game where he can shoot people on the street!

FREAKING OUT THE POOR PREGNANT WIFE!
From last night:
“I’m sorry you have to take me tomorrow, I know how much you hate the sunlight.”
“Maybe you should just take the bus.”
“You would make your pregnant wife take the bus to work in a foot of snow!”
“Well, it sounds bad when you say it like that!”
Just so you know….I didn’t have to go to work today. I love my job. And I am the greatest girlfriend for getting up at 6 to clean off the foot of snow from Heath’s car as well as mine so he could take his pick plowing through the roads. Its so peacefull at 6 AM in the fresh blanket of snow, the street lights gently reflecting off the canvas God created…..and then I went back to bed for the rest of the day…..AND I have cable.
I really hate you right now. Seriously, I do.
WOW! Mikayla you are a sweetheart! I definately skipped a lot of classes just thinking about cleaning off my car and the snow outside! Now I am trying to decide if I want to go to my afternoon class…..I’ve cleaned so something has been accomplished……anyways….Thank you Trent for not making Meg take the bus, it’s cold, she’s pregnant…..DUH!
