Nerd Herd Thursday: Similarities

Lately I’ve been finding myself looking for ways to avoid packing any of my crap up into boxes to be moved. I hate moving. So very much. Lucky for me we have a subscription to Netflix which delivers distractions right to my door. Due to our lack of cable television, I find myself renting full seasons of TV shows that I’m two years behind on. My newest obsession, The Office.

Of course there are all the cliched reasons, Jim and Pam’s sexual tension, Dwight’s tales of his beet farm, every single time Andy calls Jim “Big Tuna.” But in the newest season of The Office, which I’ve only been able to view due to NBC dot com showing full episodes online (thank you NBC!), there is a new employee that has caught my attention, Holly, the new HR rep.

I wasn’t quite sure why I thought Holly was so funny until Trent watched the season premiere with me last week and noted that Holly and I were very similar. How, you ask, are we similar? Well, Trent equated it to the scene below. When this played on the screen, he was all, “It’s you!”

There you are. Mystery solved.
