London Baby!

Cheers everyone! I’m in London, but I haven’t seen anything yet because we just got here. We got into our hostel, which is pretty nice with heaps of cool people (and a game room, ha ha Trent). I think today Abbie and I may go on a double-decker bus tour of the city, and we’re going to try and get theater tickets as well. There seems to be alot to do in London, and everyone speaks English!! Yipee! We took a cab from Waterloo station to our hostel and it was so cute. And everyone drives on the wrong side of the road! (How hickish and Kansas do I sound?) OK, that’s all for now. I’ll write more after we actually go see something. And for those who want souvenirs….don’t keep asking or you won’t get anything!

Paris!

Bonjour everybody. I’m now in Paris, where Abbie and I are truly becomong each others true love (just kidding). We left Amsterdam Friday morning and met some fun Brits on the train who gave us advice on dealing with the French. In Amsterdam we went to the Van Gogh Museum and the Red Light district. Abbie and I went to an overpriced sex show, and lets just say I’ll never look at a banana in the same way! On Thursday we almost saw Vin Disel at a movie premire, but he didn’t show. I always knew he was a douche bag! Honestly, I thought I’d see more famous people in Europe. Anyway, in Paris, we’ve been to the Louve, Eiffel Tower, Arc de Triumph, Notre Dame, etc., and tonight we’re taking a boat down the river. Alot of walking and pic taking; Paris reminds me so much of Florence, very strange…Tomorrow we’re off to London! Cheers!

Amsterdam!

OK, though it’s become blatently obvious that no one really reads this, I still thought I’d write a little blurb about my time in Amsterdam, so far. I only got in to town last night (really late) and haven’t really seen anything, but our hotel is pretty cool and it’s in a really fun part of town. Abbie is excited (as am I) because we’re within walking distance of a Burger King, McDonald’s and Pizza Hut. It’s amazing how much you miss good ole’ American fast food when you’re abroad. Anyway, today we plan on going to the Heineken Experience, a theme-park with rides and free beer that used to be a factory. Then we want to head over to the Red Light district to see what is over there (can you guess). Tomorrow and Thursday we want to go to the Anne Frank House, Van Gogh museum, Rembrant museum, and of course the famous Amsterdam cafes….OK pace to anyone who may actually read this:)
