Hello everyone. I don’t know if anyone is really checking out my website (you bastards:) but you all should, because I refuse to write anymore 3-page e-mails! Just an update on my week. This weekend I went to Lake Garda in northern Italy. It was so beautiful. I’ve never seen a lake that was so clear and turquoise colored. It looked like ocean water! It was so fun and relaxing, and it turned out to be a celebration weekend, so there were fireworks and a fashion show (with a really bad singer in a shiny black coat!) School is still pretty tough. Yes, I do actually study. Alot! We have all these required museum visits and extra classes, but they’re all over in less than 2 weeks. I already can tell I’m really going to miss Florence. It’s become like my home, and it’s going to be strange to leave, but I’m excited to come home and see eveyone also:) Guess that’s about it for now. I’m headed off to Palazzo Vecchio, a palace from which the Medici family ruled Florence in the 13th century. Gotta go learn.
Once again trying to get all this stuff going. Trent has informed me that he thinks we can get pictures up on the web, so I’m going to give it a shot ASAP. I want to make sure I’m doing it right before I get to involved or anything (so don’t get too excited). I’m loving my trip still, definetly having an amazing time. This weekend I just hung out with Abbie (who was visiting from Spain) and then Sunday I went to the beach. It was bellissima! It amazing when there are snow-capped mountains next to an ocean. Maybe it’s because I’m from Kansas, but I just think that is the coolest thing ever! Anyway, this weekend I’m heading off to Lake Garda in northern Italy. It’s a lake with hot springs and it’s in the mountains. I’m so excited. Only 3 more weeks in Florence, and I really don’t want to leave, but I know Abbie and I will have a blast traveling:) OK, everyone respond if you can read this, and hopefully I’ll hear from you soon.
Ciao tutto! I’m in Italy and I’m finally trying to make this web blog work. I’m not very computer literate, but I’m trying at least. Things are amazing here. This city (Florence) is great and I’ve made a lot of good friends already. I’ve also been to Roma and Cinque Terre (on the Mediteranean Sea). In a few weeks I’m heading off to Venice. OK, that’s all for now. I just wanted to see if I could make this thing work:)
